Installing the Outlook Client

The Outlook Integrator Client is installed on each MS-Outlook user's PC.

The Outlook Integrator Client receives appointment details sent by the Outlook Integrator Server and automatically adds them to the User's Outlook Calendar. Additionally, when appointments are added or changed in MS-Outlook, the Outlook Integrator Client sends details to the Outlook Server which makes the additions / amendments to thereby ensuring full synchronization.

To install the Outlook Integrator Client:

  1. Run the install program and follow the on-screen instructions.
  2. Once complete, run Outlook, then from the Tools Menu choose Options and go to the ScheduleTime Integrator Tab.

  3. Enter the Outlook Integrator Server Email address. Your Supervisor should have notified you of the email address.
  4. Enter your full email address (eg Alison.Needler@acme.com).
  5. If you would like changes to your Outlook calendar reflected in , check the Allow ScheduleTime updates... option. If the server has been configured to ignore Private Bookings, tick the Private checkbox within the Outlook Appointment window.
  6. If you want, you can be notified when new appointments or changes to appointments are sent to you. To enable this, check the Meeting Notification option.
  7. Click [OK] to save these settings. Your system is now configured.

TIP

  The Outlook Integrator Client icon, will be displayed in the Windows Taskbar whenever it is active.
