Guide for
New Users |
|
|
 |
|
An excellent first step for new users or people evaluating
WhiteSpace® is to take an on-line tour with theTour Guide. The
Tour Guide steps you through the
main areas of WhiteSpace® and will give you a sound
introduction to the system. Once you've gone through the Tour Guide, you can
start using the system, and where you need assistance, return to the help and
view the Reference Section.

 Help Reference |
|
|
 |
 |
The Reference section provides detailed
information on specified sections of WhiteSpace®. If you
need help understanding what a specific section is for or how to use it, look
here first.
If you cannot find the information here, check the
On-line Support area of the Timewatch Support Site as this
always contains the latest Help (check the date of your Help file and compare
it to the date of the On-line Help - you might need to upgrade).
Perform
a search to see if you can't find what you are looking for. If you can't find
anything, log a Support question. If your question could or should be answered
in Help, a Support Engineer will answer your question and log the item to be
added to Help. If it is something relating to your implementation (e.g. advice
on how to use or setup the system) you may be advised to seek training or
assistance from a Consultant. |

 Getting Help from Timewatch |
|
|
 |
 |
Timewatch provide an interactive on-line
Support System for all our products, including
WhiteSpace®.
If you have a question on any area of
WhiteSpace® or if you can't find what you are looking
for,
login
to the Support System and view the On-line Help.
The On-line
Help may be more up-to-date than your local Help. The title above is dated so
you can clearly see if your Help is out of date and needs updating. If you have
out of date Help, enter your question on line and see if there is Help or a
Knowledge Base article available for your question. If you can't find anything,
log a support ticket on-line.
Timewatch Support will assist you with
your query, then, if your question and answer can be included within the Help,
a Support Engineer will log the item to be added to the Help.
If your
question relates to something specific to your implementation e.g. advice on
how to use or configure the system, how to write a unique report or an
installation question specific to your implementation, you may be advised to
seek training, report writing or implementation assistance from a
Consultant.
